October 11, 2006Albuquerque, New Mexico - The first week of March 1991, I received a brown, legal-sized envelope by Certified Mail postmarked February 28, 1991, from Porterville, California. The envelope contained an audiocassette, letter and drawings from a woman named Linda Porter.
The day I received the package, I took her audiocassette to play in the car on errands. Her clear and articulate voice impressed me. Linda Porter was an educated person struggling to understand a life full of phenomena that did not fit acceptable categories of reality. She had decided it was important to reach me after hearing a conference presentation I had given in California concerning eyewitness testimony about non-human intelligences interacting with our planet. She was concerned about her vulnerability as a person caught up in the human abduction syndrome and was frightened about the United States government's policy of suppressing the alien presence.

The dangerous E.coli bacteria strain that has infected Salinas Valley spinach the past several weeks, killed three people and made nearly 200 ill, was confirmed in secondary irrigation water used by Nunes. Update October 7, 2006: Since this Earthfiles and my Coast to Coast AM radio interview with Adam Jimenez on September 22, 2006, the Great Lakes Dive Company website no longer functions on the net and neither Adam Jimenez nor Jim Bessette have returned phone calls or emails as they did prior to September 22. Adam told me that the company under which he and Bessette have operated, Great Lakes Dive Company, would be moving and not be settled until some time in October 2006. Perhaps that explains the communication interruption in website, phone and email.
However, James Carrion, MUFON Director, has not been able to confirm that a company doing business as “Great Lakes Dive Company” has ever been registered with the State of Michigan. So far, the Jimenez and Bessette communication with the Canadian government, as Jimenez described, has not been proved or disproved. Security concerns might have provoked Jimenez and Bessette to move out of public access until either a salvage operation or other procedure can establish their claims as legitimate or not.
September 22, 2006 Brown City, Michigan – Recently, the Great Lakes Dive Company in Michigan, in the persons of Adam Jimenez and Jim Bessette, announced a discovery of an F-89c on the bottom of Lake Superior. Also, Jimenez asserts that 212 feet from the jet is a mysterious object shaped a bit like a teardrop. Could these underwater finds help answer what happened fifty-three years ago on November 23, 1953, when Michigan’s Kinross AFB launched an F-89 to investigate a rapidly moving UFO? That night, American Air Force radar operators watched the radar blip of the F-89, carrying two men, merge with another radar blip of an unidentified flying object.
Back then, the most prominent investigator of government information about UFOs was Major Donald Keyhoe, U. S. Marine Corps, and former Director of the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena, also known as NICAP. Major Keyhoe wrote five books, beginning in 1950 with The Flying Saucers Are Real – which was published only three years after the famous Roswell disc crash headlines that the government tried to turn into a weather balloon.
Ten years later in 1960, when Major Keyhoe wrote Flying Saucers: Top Secret, he was frustrated by the ever-tightening censorship and outright lies that had become the strictly enforced policy of what Keyhoe called the “Silence Group.” Two year’s before that book’s release, he had been surprised in 1958 when the USAF at Lackland AFB, Texas, sent him a script for a closed-circuit radio broadcast at the base. Lackland wanted Major Keyhoe’s permission to use some of his book material. That 1958 U. S. Air Force script began with a detailed description of what happened during the Kinross F-89’s encounter with a UFO on November 23, 1953 – in contrast to the Air Force public explanation that a Canadian airliner crashed. Keyhoe included the never-released script in his 1960 book, from which I am quoting. The Air Force script began by summarizing official regulations about unsolved UFO investigations deliberately kept from the public. Then the Lackland Air Force script stated: “The question now is not ‘IF?,’ but ‘WHY?’ and ‘WHERE DO THEY COME FROM?’ All sightings mentioned are authenticated as described in this broadcast. It was the evening of November 23, 1953, and wintry darkness had settled over Michigan. At an isolated radar station, Air Defense operators were watching their scope in a routine guard against possible enemy attack.”
With full details, that official USAF script then showed how radar operators had picked up the blip of an unknown object over the Soo Locks near Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan.
[ Editor’s Note from U. S. Army Corps of Engineers in Detroit, Michigan District: “The world-famous Soo Locks form a passage for deep-draft ships around the rapids in the St. Marys River. Before white men came to the area, the Ojibway Indians who lived nearby portaged their canoes around the ‘Bawating’ (rapids) to reach Lake Superior from the St. Marys River.
“In 1797, the Northwest Fur Company constructed a navigation lock 38 feet long on the Canadian side of the river for small boats. This lock remained in use until destroyed in the War of 1812. Freight and boats were again portaged around the rapids.
“Congress passed an act in 1852 granting 750,000 acres of public land to the State of Michigan as compensation to the company that would build a lock permitting waterborne commerce between Lake Superior and the other Great Lakes. The Fairbanks Scale Company, which had extensive mining interests, in the upper peninsula, undertook this challenging construction project in 1853.
“In spite of adverse conditions, Fairbanks’ aggressive accountant, Charles T. Harvey, completed a system of two locks, in tandem, each 350 feet long, within the 2 year deadline set by the State of Michigan. On May 31, 1855, the locks were turned over to the state and designated as the State Lock.

“Boats which passed through the State Lock were required to pay a toll of four cents per ton, until 1877, when the toll was reduced to three cents. Within a few years, commerce through the canal had grown to national importance, and the need for new locks became clear. The funds required exceeded the state’s capabilities, and thus, in 1881 the locks were transferred to the United States government, and were placed under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The Corps has operated the locks, toll free, since that time.”]
Since Soo Locks was a restricted area, an F-89 jet from Kinross Air Force Base south of Sault Sainte Marie was immediately sent to investigate with a crew of two.
1958 Lackland Air Force Base closed-circuit radio script, never broadcast:
“The UFO, flying as fast as a jet airliner, was heading toward Lake Superior. At over 500 mph, the F-89 raced after it, out across Whitefish Bay. Nine minutes ticked by. Slowly the jet closed in. The plane was followed by radar until it merged with an object 70 miles off Keweenaw Point in upper Michigan. A stunned radar officer was quoted, ‘It seems incredible, but the blip apparently just swallowed our F-89. No trace was ever found of the missing men, the F-89 or the UFO.’”
And now, half a century later, recently released Sharc2 sidescan sonar and Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) images taken a year ago in August to September 2005, might help answer the question: What happened to the Kinross F-89 “swallowed up” on radar by a UFO?
A couple of weeks ago I interviewed Adam Jimenez, Project Manager for the Great Lakes Dive Co. Adam received a Bachelor’s of Science Computer Engineering degree in 1990 from the Kettering Technical School in Michigan run by General Motors. He is also a Master Diver who has a Certificate with Rebreather Apparatus. He explained that in the year 2000, he and his colleagues formed their dive business to look for shipwrecks on the bottom of the deepest of the Great Lakes, which is Lake Superior. The original goal for Great Lakes Dive Company was not to salvage what they find, but to videotape discoveries for documentary productions.
Originally in 2005, what the company was searching for were two Canadian-French minesweepers that sank off the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan. Problems arose with their sidescan radar, which had to be repaired. When it was ready to work again, it was too late to resume the minesweeper search, so they took a run at the last known coordinates of the Kinross F-89 that was also off Keweenaw Peninsula.
Interview:
Adam Jimenez, Project Manager, Great Lakes Dive Co., Brown City, Michigan: “We went out to the general vicinity of the last known radar contact. We began sweeping the area with out sonar array, which is an advanced system capable of searching a wide area. For people who don’t know a lot about sonar equipment, most sonar equipment is very narrow. You will search about a 1500-foot section of lake bed at a time and it takes a long time to “mow the lawn,” as they say, back and forth sweeping with sonar.
Ours is a wide range sonar. It’s capable of looking over a wide area. It took us five or six days of sweeping until we got the hit on the F-89, or what appeared to be the F-89. We didn’t know until we looked at it a little closer.

There was a lot of emptiness down there. There weren’t any wrecks in the immediate area, so it’s a lot of plain, flat lake bottom. You get this shape that just sort of appears out of that. So the anomaly kind of stands right out to you. Several of us jumped up and said, ‘What is that? Back up!’ We went back.
Did we say, ‘That’s the F-89!’ No, we didn’t know at that time until we were able to re-scan with the high resolution and take some measurements.
SO, THEN YOU THINK IT’S PROBABLY THE F-89 FROM THE 1953 KINROSS INCIDENT. HOW DID YOU THEN FIND THAT OTHER MYSTERIOUS OBJECT?
When we went back and got the high res image of the F-89, we immediately dropped the ROV in the water to look at the F-89 to hopefully get a serial number off the tail, which was exactly what we did. Also to get visual confirmation that it was the F-89 from other things like what type of wing pod does it have? What type of canopy have? Anything to give us a clue that this was an F-89 and not perhaps some other airplane.
And what made us focus on the object when it began causing problems with our equipment. There’s a huge story there, not including the huge story about what happened leading up to 1953.
Sonar Distortion Lead to Mystery Object
WHAT WERE THE PROBLEMS WITH YOUR EQUIPMENT?
We did not notice the (unknown) object at first until we began a detailed scan – what we call a high-resolution scan of the area – basically trying to find the wing and any other missing part we could find. There was one corner of the search grid that was sending back a distortion. It was only on that corner of the search grid. We could drag the sonar fish over the F-89 and get a good image – for a sonar image anyway – clear as a bell, which is what you see on our website (Sharc2 sidescan sonar low resolution image above.) But when we would drag the sonar fish over that particular location of the object, we would get a visual distortion in one of the corners of the search grid.
When we began looking at the ‘mystery object,’ as we refer to it, we were trying to image the area in more detail to try to find parts of the F-89 that were not attached to the plane. Because of that visual distortion, we focused on that. It was kind of strange and we didn’t know if we were having a reoccurring problem with our sonar array. We would take the unit back to the F-89. It would not distort. We’d take the sonar unit back to the corner about 200 feet away, it would distort.
Did F-89 Have Nuclear Weapon?
So, one of the team members recalled that F-89s were equipped at one point with nuclear weapons. This prompted us to take everything out of the water and return to Michigan and obtain a Geiger counter. We were concerned we might be dealing with a radioactive source. We did that. We got hold of a handheld Geiger counter, put it inside the ROV to the bottom and the results were negative. There was no radiation coming from the object.
ANY SPECULATION BY ALL OF YOU ABOUT THE INTERFERENCE? WHAT’S CAUSING THE INTERFERENCE?
We thought radiation at first because it was almost a mimic of – if you’ve ever had a cellular phone turned on next to a computer monitor and get a phone call, you’ll see a distortion in the monitor. And that’s kind of what we were looking at in the images we were getting – that sort of visual distortion. So we thought we might be dealing with some form of radiation. But we eliminated radiation.
We still don’t know. We haven’t been back since with the shark system – the big sonar array. We simply captured the images we captured on the cannibalized sonar system to get what we got. But it would be an interesting test to go back next season and use the shark array and find out exactly what is causing that distortion.
Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) Videotape Image of Mystery Object
IN THE SIDESCAN IMAGING, WHAT CAN YOU DESCRIBE IN MORE DETAIL ABOUT THE TEARDROP-SHAPED OBJECT?
It’s 212 feet away, actually. You really can’t tell by the sidescans. The ROV footage is much more telling. What can I tell you about it? We don’t know what it is. We’re not UFOlogists. We are divers and scientists. The ROV footage shows that it is clearly metallic. It doesn’t show up on a regular magnetometer scan, which does not necessarily mean anything except it’s not made out of iron.
It definitely has the reflective qualities of metal. That’s why we call it metallic. There has been some speculation on the internet that it’s dented in the front. In fact, it is not dented in the front. That appears to be a distortion on the sidescan imagery. So, it’s very smooth and metallic in shape and fairly large.
COULD YOU PLEASE GIVE SOME OF THE MEASUREMENTS YOU KNOW – THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE PLANE AND THE TEARDROP-SHAPED OBJECT AND THE ESTIMATED SIZE OF THE TEARDROP-SHAPED OBJECT?
The distance between the two objects is approximately 212 feet. I believe the size of the teardrop is roughly, I think it is 8 feet by 15 feet. But that’s just the exposed portion. We don’t know what else lies beneath the sand.
SO RIGHT NOW YOU’RE SAYING, FROM YOUR BEST EDUCATION, THAT THE TEARDROP ITSELF IS NOT MORE THAN FIFTEEN FEET IN DIAMETER?
It’s not diameter, because it’s oblong kind of shape. So, from what we can tell that’s exposed, it’s about a fifteen by eight feet section.
BUT NOT LONGER THAN FIFTEEN FEET?
Exposed, right. Now, who knows what else is underneath? What you’re seeing in the sidescan from the tail to the tip is about fifteen feet. From the absolute widest point of the teardrop across is, I believe, 8 to 10 feet, somewhere in there.
ARE THERE ANY INSTRUMENTS YOU CAN USE THAT CAN SAY WHAT THIS IS MADE OUT OF?
No. It does not show up on a magnetometer and that’s pretty much what you can use without actually getting into recovering the object.
BUT IF IT DOES NOT HAVE IRON, IT IS NOT GOING TO HAVE A SIGNATURE IN A MAGNETOMETER?
Right. Magnetometers are essentially huge magnets. Anyone who has had a magnet knows that sometimes they attract metal and sometimes they don’t. This one (unknown circular object) does not give a reading on the magnetometer.
Mystery Object That’s Visible Under Sand Is Only 15 Feet Long
IN THE ORIGINAL STORY THAT WAS RELEASED FROM THE AIR FORCE AND MEDIA AT THE TIME (IN 1953), THE AIR FORCE SAID THAT THERE WAS AN OBJECT IDENTIFIED AS A UFO TRAVELING OVER 500 MPH, THAT THE F-89 WAS RACING TOWARD OUT ACROSS WHITE FISH BAY. AND THAT THEY WATCHED ON RADAR APPARENTLY AS THE BLIPS BETWEEN THE F-89 AND THE UFO THAT WAS TRAVELING RAPIDLY CAME TOGETHER AND JOINED INTO ONE BLIP. ONE OF THE QUOTES FROM THAT PERIOD OF TIME WAS FROM THE AIR FORCE: ‘The blip apparently just swallowed the F-89. No trace was ever found of the missing men, F-89 or the UFO.’ THAT’S A QUOTE FROM A REPORT.
Correct.
SO YOU WOULD THINK THAT WHATEVER THIS OBJECT WAS, THE BLIP THAT SEEMED TO SWALLOW THE F-89, IT WOULD HAVE TO BE BIGGER THAN AN F-89?
Yeah. The airplane disappeared at 7,000 feet also. The aircraft we found does not appear to have hit the lake from a fall of 7,000 feet. The wreckage we found would certainly not suggest that the plane fell from an altitude of 7,000 feet.
SO THERE REALLY IS A SUBSTANTIAL MYSTERY ABOUT WHAT THE TEARDROP-SHAPED OBJECT IS DOWN THERE A FEW HUNDRED FEET FROM THE F-89?
Absolutely. A tremendous mystery!
What IS the Mystery Object?
The Great Lakes Dive Co. would simply have sent the GPS coordinates of the aircraft to the U. S. Air Force so they could retrieve their airmen, if it had not been for the object. Certainly, that’s what we would do with the minesweepers once they are located. We would supply the coordinates to the appropriate agencies who might want to recover their officers. But the object changed everything, so it kind of puts us in a holding pattern with everything.
MEANING THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A CLOSER IDENTIFICATION PERHAPS OF WHAT THE OBJECT IS?
Correct.
YOU WOULD DO THAT IN 2007 IN WHAT WAY?
We would take the ROV back down. Again, we looked at most of the site. We’d like to look a little bit further. We were hampered by worsening weather in the middle of the lake. So we weren’t really able to finish what we would like to finish. And there’s been some suggestion by the team to utilize what they call a high-pressure wash system on the ROV, which basically generates a stream of water capable of dusting the silt off things. Possibly taking a run at the unknown object with that system. We don’t know. We’re still working out the logistics.
IF YOU COULD THEN SPRAY OFF SOME OF THE COATING OF THE MUD AND SILT, YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO SEE MORE CLEARLY WHAT THAT OBJECT IS.
Correct.
YOU WOULD DO THIS VIDEOTAPING AS YOU WENT?
Absolutely. Well, as much as we could. Whenever you use a high-pressure wash system, it tends to stir up silt quite a bit. So, there might be waiting and seeing afterward.
Any Military Interest in the Lake Superior Discoveries?
HAVE YOU HAD ANY CONTACT FROM ANY MILITARY AGENCY TO DATE ABOUT THIS?
No. No military agencies. The only contacts we’ve had are routine contacts with the Canadian government regarding permits to the site, which is not sinister in the slightest. It’s routine. The Canadian government believes anything on the lake bottom is their property – especially something that has not been reported as being discovered. They like to know what the location is before they issue a permit to return.
We have other projects in the works, which forces us to keep a delicate peace with the Minister of Culture in Canada so that nothing else gets disrupted.
SO CURRENTLY WHERE THE F-89 AND THE ROUND OBJECT LAY IS IN CANADIAN TERRITORY?
That’s correct.
IF THIS ROUND OBJECT TURNS OUT TO FALL INTO THE CATEGORY OF A SILVER DISC AS WAS PHOTOGRAPHED SO MANY TIMES IN THE 1940S, 1950S, THE 1960S – WHAT DO YOU THINK WOULD BE THE NEXT STEP AS FAR AS YOU BEING ABLE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT RETRIEVING IT? OR WORKING WITH THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT? AND WHAT PERHAPS WOULD THE U. S. GOVERNMENT SAY?
I think the U. S. government – unless they can show that the object is their property – would have much of a say about the (unknown) object itself. Of course, the F-89 remains the U. S. Air Force property, which is fully understandable. But the Canadian government is very restrictive. They consider everything on the lake bottom, be it a shipwreck, plane or something else unknown, their property automatically. So, any kind of recovery effort that’s done legally would have to be done through the Canadian government, unless the U.S. government could prove the (unknown) object is their property, which I have no idea. They might say it’s a piece of their military hardware. Maybe they know something we don’t.
THE SIZE IS PUZZLING, BUT IF IT IS CURRENTLY THAT THE PART WE ARE SEEING IS ONLY AN UPPER PORTION OF SOMETEHING THAT MIGHT BE BIGGER UNDERNEATH, THAT COULD BE A WHOLE OTHER STORY?
Certainly. The speculation can run the spectrum from one end to the other of what it is and how big it is. One of our team suggested perhaps it is upside down. Perhaps we are seeing the bottom of whatever that is. It’s possible it’s a piece of something. The rest of it could be somewhere else. We just don’t know. It’s wide open for rampant speculation at this point without further analysis.
Mid-Air Collision? Or Advanced Technology That “Placed” F-89 On Bottom of Lake Superior?
ABOUT THE ISSUE OF THE F-89 NOT LOOKING LIKE IT HAD FALLEN FROM 7,000 FEET, IT REMINDS ME OF THE FAMOUS MANTELL CASE OVER KENTUCKY IN WHICH THEY FOUND THAT PLANE BROKEN UP WITH THOUSANDS OF LITTLE HOLES IN IT. AGAIN, I BELIEVE ONE OF THE STATEMNTS WAS THAT IT DIDN’T LOOK LIKE IT CRASHED. IT LOOKED LIKE IT HAD BEEN PLACED AND CRACKED APART. THIS RAISES THE QUESETION ABOUT THE INTERACTION WITH THE UFO ACTIVITY – THERE ARE ALLEGEDLY BEAMS OR ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS THAT MIGHT PLACE A PLANE DOWN IN THE BOTTOM OF WATER WITHOUT THE PLANE ACTUALLY FALLING.
Anything is possible at this point, Linda. If I had to guess, I’d say the plane experienced a low level collision with the object that’s near it. Maybe the altitude was being reported by the pilot and maybe unbeknownst to him, he was a lot closer to the lake than he thought.
The forensics of the aircraft suggest that it was a low level speed collision with something. There does appear to be what we refer to as a ‘strike mark’ on the (unknown) object that does match the hole where the wing used to be on the F-89. There’s an oblong kind of unique shape where the wing used to be. There’s a – I don’t know if you would call it a scratch per se. It’s definitely not a dent. But there is a matching formation on the object that matches the hole where the wing was (on the F-89). So, if I had to guess, my best guess would be that a low level collision took place and both objects went to the bottom (of Lake Superior).
WHEN YOU TALK ABOUT THAT SCRATCH, YOU MEAN THAT THERE IS A SCRATCH ON THE ROUND, OR TEARDROP-SHAPED OBJECT?
Right. I call it a strike mark. I don’t know if you could call it a scratch. It does not appear to be an indentation of any kind in the metal. It’s just an oblong mark, if you will, that does match the oddball oblong mark on the F-89.
If you can imagine a wing being ripped off from an airplane, it’s going to leave a very distinguished hole. It’s not going to be a simple laser cut, precision line. It’s going to leave a strange shape because of twisted metal. Well, this shape does appear to match with the mark on the object.
YOU WOULD SPECULATE THEN WHAT HAPPENED?
From those two things, the strike mark (on unknown object) and the hole in the F-89, I would speculate that the F-89 did collide with this object in some manner.
AND BOTH WENT DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF LAKE SUPERIOR?
That would be our guess, yes. Now, that’s assuming this (unknown round object) isn’t just a piece of something, but it would appear that both things went to the bottom in their entirety. There doesn’t appear to be a broken off piece of something. But again, we don’t know. We don’t know how much is below the surface.
THAT WING FROM THE F-89 MIGHT STILL BE THERE UNDER THE BOTTOM MUD, OR IT MIGHT BE UNDER THAT OBJECT?
It’s a possibility. There are several theories about what might have happened to the wing and that is certainly one of them – that it could be under the object itself. Or nearby and just buried under mud we can’t see. We’re not sure.
IF IT REALLY IS A SILVER DISC IN THE UFO CATEGORY, WHAT DO YOU THINK HAPPENS NEXT?
(laughs) That’s a good question! I’m not sure.”

“Great Cycle of 13 Baktuns.” A Mayan Baktun is thirteen cycles of 394 solar years that equals the Grand Calendar.
October 5, 2006 Mexico City, Mexico – The beginning of the Mayan “Long Count” or “Great Cycle” calendar is variously located between August 6 and August 13, 3113 B. C. on the Christian calendar. In Mayan chronology, the beginning date is written 13.0.0.0.0.Click for report.
Email from Australian scientist who requests anonymity: “Etchilhampton Hill seems to show some kind of space-time grid from general relativity. By that interpretation, its four-fold symmetric star-shape could be interpreted to illustrate a gravity-wave vibration, which has two degrees of freedom as “up-down” or “left-right” (that is, vertical or horizontal).
Similarly the round white circle, which is shown below that four-fold star, could be meant to illustrate how space and time will vibrate due to a passing gravity wave, near an originally round planet such as Earth.
Finally, its construction date of August 14, 2006 could possibly be one year before a real impact date of August 14, 2007, but only if the crop artists have a symbolic logic resembling our own, which is not certain.

How might Etchilhampton Hill of August 2006 relate to previous Mayan-type crop pictures?
Recall that Wayland’s Smithy of August 2005 showed two sets of base-16 hexadecimal numbers as “13-10-7” and “14-5-11”.
If we choose to interpret those numbers as “calendar dates” (an idea first suggested by Jaime Maussan) within the current 52-year Mayan calendar system, starting on Dec. 21-22, 1960 and ending on Dec. 21-22, 2012, then we can translate those base-16 numbers into our modern calendar by simple calculator math:
0-0-0 = Dec. 21, 1960
16-0-0 = Dec. 21, 2012
13-10-7 = May 1-4, 2005 (first crop picture of the 2005 season at Golden Ball Hill)
14-5-11 = August 13-16, 2007 (same as August 14 for Etchilhampton Hill of 2006, but add one year exactly)

To make this clear, let us show the latter calculation in detail.
For “14-5-11” in base-16, we first need to obtain a fraction of the 52-year period as follows:
14 /16 + 5 / (16*16 ) + 11 / (16*16*16) = 0.87500 + 0.01953 + 0.00269 = 0.89722, which is a fraction of 52 years between December 1960 and December 2012.
Further calculations then show that 0.89722 x 52 = 46.655 years since the starting date of December 21-22, 1960.
First we add 46 years to December 21-22, 1960 to get December 21-22, 2006.
Next we add 0.655 years = 239 days to December 21-22, 2006 to get approximately August 15, 2007.
[ Note that three base-16 numbers in 52 years only give a modern date accurate to five days.]

The 52-year Mayan period represents a regular periodic motion of the Sun and Venus. One Mayan Sun equals exactly 5200 “years” of 360 days each (as shown at Silbury Hill in 2004).
Then we take (360 / 365.25) x 5200 to get 5125.26 years of 365.25 days each. Dec. 21, 2012 AD (2011.95) minus 5125.26 then gives 3113.3 BC, or 3114.3 BC since there is no “year zero.”
How do we know that the Mayan 52-year calendar, based on motions of the Sun and Venus through our sky, was the proper choice?
Well, it was illustrated symbolically at Silbury Hill in August 2004; and a series of “Mayan glyphs” were shown around the outer part of Wayland’s Smithy in August 2005.
Finally, the central “crescent” of Wayland’s Smithy 2005 showed only 15% remaining, which was nearly correct for August 2005 as a fraction of 52 years spanning 1960 to 2012. In other words, (2012-2005) / 52 = 7 / 52 = 0.134.

Thus we see a strong logical connectivity of all three August patterns over three successive years from 2004 to 2006.
One of the most interesting aspects of this crop-circle logic is that those 52-year calendar periods refer to periodic motions of the Sun and Venus as seen from Earth, and not in a Sun-centered frame of reference.
If they were not made by local human fakers (of a mathematical nature), then how could the crop artists possibly be ‘aliens’? They could instead be humans from our own past, or maybe from our own future? Time-travel through wormholes makes all things possible, even apparent contradictions involving causality.
‘You do not understand the basic nature of time. There is no present without the past, and no future without the present.’ Those words were written by Ursula LeGuin in her great novel The Dispossessed, where her character Shevek invents a new theory of time that makes faster-than-light communication possible.
That was considered wildly speculative when she wrote the book, but today we call it ‘quantum teleportation,’ and it is discussed in leading scientific journals such as Nature.
Who can say whether advanced scientists on Earth will eventually invent some new technology, which will enable them to send messages back in time, by making complex patterns in summer crops? We see motifs there which are all too human, and often not ‘alien’ at all: Celtic symbols, Buddhist symbols, Jewish symbols, or even highly-coded warnings about the near future.
Simply by waiting for another 11 months, we should be able to learn whether those patterns are being made by local humans from our own time, or else by humans from some other reality?
If any readers would like to study those crop patterns further, to obtain a possibly more accurate or revised date from Etchilhamton Hill 2006 and Wayland’s Smithy 2005 (see also Wayland’s Smithy 2006), then any sincere, well-thought-out efforts would be welcome. By drawing open pictures in crops, their messages are meant for all of us: not for any particular country or tribe, but for all of us.”

Ted Robertson, Harpsichord Maker and Independent Crop Circle Research Assoc. (ICCRA) Investigator, Indiana: “That particular star formation has been one of my favorites this year and just from the looks of it alone I thought it one that is probably authentic. It does look like Venus now that you mentioned it. The paths being so narrow and straight, so elegant and the design itself gives a “positive” feel to it.
Another thing too is that for me the octave represents a completion and a resting point. This seems congruent with the Mayan symbol of eight the Lamat. The eight for a completion of scale containing only diatonic tones while the thirteen – also mentioned as the long count with 13 baktuns represent another way of looking at the harmonic scale when it includes all the half steps ( includes the non-diatonic notes as well). And so twelve different tones are the number of notes counted in a chromatic scale when on note thirteen one reaches the octave again.
So both 8 and 13 represent to me completion ( the octave) where the notes counted end on an octave the first using the diatonic scale and the second using the chromatic scale.
I do think that the Lamat is an excellent interpretation of this crop circle and this in the light of all the other Mayan glyphs seems very likely.”

September 29, 2006 Las Vegas, Nevada – Eleven years ago at a conference about the human abduction syndrome, one of the participants was a man named Jim Sparks, born Jim Sparacino to his Italian parents fifty-two years ago on November 15, 1954.
Unlike many abductees who experience loss of consciousness and missing time, Jim’s interactions with what he calls ‘aliens’ have been mostly conscious. Even back in 1995, Jim Sparks made a clear distinction between what he described as “small, grey, drone worker types” versus “taller, true aliens, or supervisors.”
Jim explained that when he was thirty-four years old in 1988, he was happily married and had thriving real-estate work in both Texas and North Carolina. Then suddenly, beings from other worlds entered his life and he thought he was losing his mind. Jim Sparks had interactions with two different types: one category was the grey-skinned, large dark eyes, that apparently come in many varieties, including small androids that do work for taller, very intelligent controllers.
From 1988 into the 1990s, Jim was schooled by the Greys in front of computers and 3-dimensional projections. Jim was forced to learn the alien symbols and numbers. Eventually, Jim says he was also contacted by alleged U. S. government intelligence operatives who wanted to know about the alien symbols and numbers.
Jim also had a conscious, face-to-face encounter with several tall, reptilian-skinned humanoids. Jim says those reptilians warned that the Earth’s environment is facing a crisis and that the planet must be saved, whether humans survive or not.
Now Jim Sparks has put his eighteen years of interactions with non-humans into a new book entitled THE KEEPERS: Alien Message for the Human Race. Of the many abductees I’ve interviewed, Jim has always impressed me with his down-to-Earth attitude and common sense. Jim has always stressed that when people see aerial craft jump from one side of the sky to the other, or see entities walk through solid walls, or feel a weight go down on their bed, but cannot see what’s making the weight – it’s all advanced technologies. Recently I asked him about his firsthand experiences with extraterrestrial abilities to manipulate time and matter.
Jim Sparks, Debt Consultant, Las Vegas, Nevada: “Time in their eyes is quite a bit different. If you are a time traveler, so to speak, it’s no big deal to you. It’s just another technological apparatus. You can go from Point A in time to Point B in time whenever you want, almost as simple as using a TV remote control.
In fact, from what I can see and experience with these beings, it’s almost mundane and boring to them. It’s not even exciting to travel time. It‘s just something that they do. Since we’re stuck in it, time is extremely relevant to us.
WHEN YOU SAY FROM YOUR PERSPECTIVE THE NON-HUMANS ARE EVEN BORED BY THE IDEA OF TIME TRAVEL, COULD YOU SHARE YOUR OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCE ABOUT HOW YOU EVEN LEARNED THAT?
I think by a mistake. There was one experience I just can’t get over. I know it will stick with me the rest of my life, regarding time travel. Before the mistake, I should share the fact that whenever I was ‘abducted’ – I still haven’t found the perfect word for that experience yet. I like to use the word ‘pulled’ because of the sensation. In the alien world, we would do certain tasks that would end and another task began. When the non-humans determined it was time to end, or for me to go back, a week could have gone by, a month could have gone by. Then no matter how long I had been gone, I would find myself exactly where I left off, as though I had never left, and as if the aliens had never pulled me.
When I say a mistake, I had an experience – and bare in mind that 90% of them are conscious recall right in your face – where I was at home and got pulled in the late afternoon or early evening. I was watching television. I was on the sofa. My hand was on my head and my elbow was on the sofa. I was lying sideways watching TV.
I had gotten up and walked over to get something to eat and drink to snack on from the refrigerator. So, I had to walk by an island in the kitchen and make a sharp right turn to get into the kitchen to get into the refrigerator. I got up from the sofa, walked across the living room. I have an aquarium, so I looked at my fish for a few seconds. Then I opened up the refrigerator door, grabbed a soda, drank it. Got something to eat. Shut the door and walked back around the aquarium in the living room and back to the sofa. And then I got pulled. I was not expecting it.
I had a two-hour experience. This was the first time manipulation where it was firsthand in my face and it just astounded me. Because what happened was: I had gone through the abduction experience for the two-hour period. When I came back, I came back approximately a minute or two minutes before I originally left, meaning that I found myself back on the sofa. But like I was in two places at once, I could see myself get up from the sofa, walk around the aquarium like I did earlier and into the kitchen. I just sat there with my mouth shut in shock and didn’t make a sound. I could hear my footsteps. I could hear myself going into the kitchen. This other me watched from the sofa and heard the refrigerator door open, saw a light go on in the refrigerator, heard the sounds of me drinking the soda. I heard and saw the whole scene! Then I watched myself come back from the kitchen. This is not an out of body experience because let me set a foundation here.
All this stuff is technology. I’ve stuck to the logic of technology. I am not letting myself drift to the left or right on that issue. When I saw myself walking back to the sofa, I just said, ‘Well, here comes me and what is ‘me’ going to do when it sees me now?’ But that ‘me’ did not even see me and as it got closer, it started fading and disappeared.
So, I saw something in solid real life – myself – back a minute or two before I left!
Invisibility Technology
Another area that astounds me is an invisibility factor there. They have the ability to be invisible. Again, I just look at these things as technology, nothing more than that. I’m not going to get spooked by it. I’m just going to witness it and see if I can figure it out. I’m not a technician or a scientist. But I’m going to take as much of a science approach as I can.
They just create some kind of electrical field and anything within that field, the laws of physics don’t apply as we understand them. That’s why sometimes you can see them as whole or other times you see them look faded. Or we see them walk through walls. Are they really walking through walls? Or are they displacing matter that is the wall in the field? They literally are going through solid matter.
FROM A TECHNOLOGY POINT OF VIEW, IT SOUNDS AS IF THE NON-HUMANS CAN DEFLECT PHOTONS, WHICH WOULD MAKE THEM INSTANTLY INVISIBLE. AND THAT THEY ALSO HAVE SOME KIND OF CONTROL AND MANIPULATION AT THE ATOMIC OR MOLECULAR LEVEL?
Their technology is so sophisticated – I’ll address one level. Again, it’s the invisibility thing again. They can toy with the mind. Remember, a perfect example would be if you are walking along the sidewalk and you see a red ant pile. Some how with technology, let’s say we manage to communicate with one of the ants.
Our mind is thinking a million miles an hour and this ant is just looking up and saying, ‘Wow, for the first time I’m seeing a human face.’ How can you tell that ant what a car payment is? It does not even understand what anything is in our big world. So, relatively speaking, when I say toy with our minds, the E. T.s understand the basic human day-to-day stimuli and visuals. In other words, if you are in your car and driving down the highway – you’re looking at signs, you’re looking at the other cars, you might see a flock of birds fly by, all the natural things that we do.
But what the E. T.s do is take the natural things and manipulate them, for example, into a flock of birds. You think it’s a flock of birds, because the non-humans will transmit an energy into your mind and work with the chemicals in your mind and the electrical system in our body and brain. So, you think you are seeing a flock of birds and so does everybody else on the highway. Actually, it could be a formation of alien ships. So, they are transmitting something that affects human minds.
Screen Memories
I UNDERSTAND THIS WHOLE IDEA OF A SCREEN MEMORY THAT HAS BEEN DISCUSSED IN THE ABDUCTION LITERATURE SINCE THE 1970S BY LEO SPRINKLE, BUDD HOPKINS, JOHN MACK AND OTHERS. THE SCREEN MEMORIES HAVE BEEN THINGS LIKE A DEER, OR AN OWL, OR BIRDS – NON-HUMAN MANIPULATION THAT CREATES DISGUISES.
Absolutely. Something that you would just see every day and not give it a second thought! The reason I spot these things from time to time is that I’ve had so much exposure over the last eighteen years to E. T. technology and how they screen image and how they work. I’ve been adamant about not being friendly with them and just observing and having a frame of reference where I can understand and try to keep it as logical and scientific as possible – even though in the early years, it was pretty terrorizing.
Their trickery – it’s so good! It’s like a chameleon. A chameleon can blend into the scenery. Or like an octopus that can do that at the bottom of the sea. They can look like the sea floor and the other fish don’t notice them. The E. T.s are such masters at this. They are absolute masters! One of their ships can be a car in your parking lot and you just don’t give it a second thought. Your brain just sees a car and goes on. It doesn’t even say the word ‘car’ in your mind. You’ve got to remember what we are dealing with. We are dealing with beings that have the capacity to retain and assimilate more data and process more data than we can. They’ve been around longer. They can think faster.
IT SOUNDS LIKE THEY CAN TAKE ATOMS AND MOLECULES AND MANIPULATE THEM ANY WAY THEY WANT TO, TO LOOK LIKE ANYTHING THEY WANT US TO SEE. IT REMINDS ME OF A DEPUTY THEY EVEN SAW A GLOWING RED SQUARE IN A GROVE OF TREES WHERE THEY WERE INVESTIGATING ANIMAL MUTILATIONS AND THE NEXT MORNING. THERE WERE THEIR TIRE TRACKS WHERE THEY HAD STOPPED THE NIGHT BEFORE. THE GROVE OF TREES THAT HAD THE RED, GLOWING SQUARE IN IT DID NOT EVEN EXIST. EVEN THE TREES HAD BEEN SOME KIND OF SCREEN MEMORY.
Exactly. But you’re dealing with different technologies. It’s almost like having a universal remote control. You’ve got the remote control that creates invisibility. You’ve got the remote control that controls the camouflage techniques. You’ve got the remote control button that can create a field. Another that can travel through time.
Projecting Percentages of Matter – From Other Dimensions?
It’s like an electrical field, for lack of a better definition. I’m not a scientist. But sometimes there is even a humming sound associated with it that I pick up. They create a field and they can manipulate not so much, from what I can tell – yeah, you’ll see things that they want you to see and they can manipulate matter in that way. What really intrigues me is the E. T.s can be 5% to 10% in this dimension on this physical plane while the rest is in another dimension. In other words, let’s say you are in your living room and you see something that looks like an apparition or ghost that you can kind of see through it.
Well, they might be only 2 to 3% in our dimension and they are 98% or 97% solid in some other dimension. There are dimensions out there like layers of an onion, by the thousands, in a sense that they squeeze into. But they don’t really. The E. T.s molecularly change the vibration of something so they can be in another dimension and solid, but be projected here in only 5%. That’s when they are doing research work here and they don’t have to handle physical items or objects in our dimension or plane.
I see sometimes they will be 40%, or 50% in our dimension if they need to move solid objects here. But, their self-defense is to disappear. So, if you charge at them, they are gone. Or if you charge at them by running at them in an attack or anything of that nature, you can put your hand right through them.
With their science, I’ve seen them take an object, for example – something as simple as a can of soda pop. They can take one can of soda pop and make two cans of soda pop from it. Each can has 50% of the molecular structure and weight divided evenly. Then they can do it in quarters. Then they can do it in eighths. Then they can break it down into thousandths. Then the next thing you know, you are looking through those cans.
That’s what the E. T.s do with their technology – push a button and you have time travel. Push another button, you have invisibility. It’s not like each individual E. T. is a high tech wizard. They are just like any other person who is using a tool.
DO YOU HAVE ANY SENSE NOW IN 2006 WHERE THE REAL ORIGIN IS FOR THE GREYS?
Well, when we say greys – you have working beings, which in my experience are created just for that purpose. They are part biological, they are part robotic. These things are used as a tool for labor, for tasks, even if it’s technical. I think a lot of the beings are mistaken tools, or biological working beings, are mistaken as extraterrestrials. My experience primarily has been in what you would call greys and some referred to as reptilian, snake-like, lizard-like beings. They all seem to have these little workers as a tool. When you ask, ‘Where are they from?’ Could it be from working in another dimension? Could it be from another time? From another place? Can it be from another star? Can it be a race of E. T.s that are not from the two I just mentioned? But the E. T.s will have the little worker beings with them, too?
When you take in consideration that traveling time means nothing and invisibility is nothing. Getting from point A to point B is nothing. What I have learned about them is they are extreme masters of deception, meaning that almost anything we can come up with – and I’m not trying to belittle our scientists or agencies that are studying this stuff – the E. T.s can lead them to believe, as you could an ant, anything they are using.
JIM, WHAT NOW IN 2006 DO YOU IN YOUR HEART THINK THE GREYS AND WHOEVER THEIR INTELLIGENT CONTROLLERS ARE, WHAT DO THEY WANT?
What I’ve come to in the last 18 years, we’re about ½% of what they are about and 99.5% is something else that we don’t have a clue what they are doing. What we are seeing is that ½% in our face from time to time.”

Santa Rosa, central top of map, is in the La Pampa Province of Argentina, northwest of Bahia Blanca. The yellow areas have all had repeated animal mutilations since 2002, with an estimated total of more than 3,000 in Argentina and Chile.
September 20, 2006 Santa Rosa, La Pampa, Argentina - Argentina animal mutilation investigator, Guillermo D. Gimenez, recently sent me a report from Santa Rosa, La Pampa Province, Argentina, by Salvatore Valentin Carta, about the unusual death and mutilation of a pregnant mare found bloodlessly cut up. The ranch owners said the horse was not theirs and the mare's owner is still unidentified. How did the pregnant mare end up on a stranger's property?
Translation of Carta's September 10, 2006, report: "The location of the mutilated mare was north of Santa Rosa near National Route 35 at the 333 kilometer marker. The mare was about 3-years-old and we are pretty sure was pregnant.
