U.K. Sunday Express, September 23, 2018, after September 20th headlines from police closing down their “Croydon Cat Killer” investigation of bloodless, surgical cat and other small animal mutilations since 2015, blaming the phenomenon on foxes and road kill by cars. Mysterious bloodless mutilations of cats, other small animals and large animals such as cattle and horses have been reported around the world in both hemispheres since at least the 1960s. Croydon is a borough in South London 10 miles from central London. Mutilators were first dubbed the “Croydon Cat Killer;” and then the “M25 Cat Killer” ( after the 117 mile motorway ring road encircling Greater London); and finally the “UK Small Animal Killer” as victims started appearing over the whole greater London region. Mysterious bloodless mutilations of cats, other small animals and large animals such as cattle and horses have been reported around the world in both hemispheres since at least the 1960s.
