Pew Research Center Reports “76% of Americans Age 18-29 Believe Intelligent Life Exists On Other Planets.”

July 4, 2021 Washington, D. C. – Between June 14-24, 2021, the Pew Research Center in the Nation’s Capital organized a poll of United States citizens in various age categories prior to the Pentagon’s 180-day-countdown reply by June 25, 2021 — a reply to a Congressional request for more information about the “advanced aerial threat” of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) and possible association with “foreign adversaries,” from Earth or outer space. The poll results were released on Independence Day, July 4, 2021.

76% of Americans Age 18-29; 65% of U. S. Adults Say “Intelligent Life Exists On Other Planets.”

51% U. S. Adults Do Not Think UFOs Are National Security Threat?

In general, Americans are not inclined to assume that UFOs are hostile. The public does not view UFOs as a major threat to the country. Most Americans (87%) say that UFOs are not a threat at all (51%) or a minor threat (36%). Only 10% think UFOs are a major threat to U.S. national security.

When asked about “friendly UFOs,” 17% said yes, while 7% said UFOs were “unfriendly.” So, 74% said UFOs are neither friendly nor unfriendly, but were “neutral.”
